Jet 321532 GH-1340W-1 Geared Head Engine Metalworking Lathe with ACU-RITE 200S DRO Installed
Smooth and quiet, JET’s 1340W-1 geared-head engine lathe is designed with hardened and ground gears in the headstock and gearbox for optimal control and longer machine life. The ACU-RITE DRO 200T features an easy-to-read, 14-segment vacuum fluorescent display and a sealed, 3D, tactile-feel, color keypad for precision turning. The headstock is constantly oiled during operation and includes splined, not keyed shafts. The gearbox enables large threading and feeding without changing gears. The D1-4 spindle is precision ground for accuracy and supported by high-quality tapered roller bearings. The spindle actuation control features inch-metric dials and is apron mounted. An induction-hardened and ground V-way bed offers better command over shaping projects. And, a gap bed section is included for larger diameter pieces. The compound and cross slide have backlash elimination and adjustable glbs are incorporated in the carriage and slideways. The tailstock may be offset for turning tapers and includes an inch-metric graduated quill.
