The Panasonic EY7840X has two modes, hammer mode and drill mode. In the hammer mode the EY7840X drills concrete with a speed of 0 -1,000 rpm and a maximum of 4,000 blows per minute with a hitting force of 21.6 Kn. In the drill mode the EY7840X delivers a speed of 0-1,000 rpm for drilling and fastening into wood and metal. The EY7840X features a 5 stage clutch that delivers 13 48 in.lbs. of torque in 9 in. lbs. increments. The convenient SDS bit adaptor allows you to fasten in concrete, wood and metal.
